Jake Penrod's Two-Step Tuesday

Jake Penrod makes a RARE appearance in Orange County for a special Tuesday night showcase. Widely known in Texas and in Europe, Jake and his band will have you two-stepping and waltzing to music built on a foundation laid by masters such as Hank Sr., Merle Haggard and Ernest Tubb.

Jake was nominated for the Austin Chronicle’s best country artist of the year.

In 2015, he was recognized as the Academy of Western Artists’ Pure Country Male Vocalist of the Year.

In 2017, he earned the Ameripolitan Music Award for Honky Tonk Male.

Despite his accolades, or maybe because of them, Jake really isn’t too concerned with image, persona, or delusions of stardom. He’ll tell you he’s more about “listen to this” than “look at me.”

His greatest honor is that Kinky Friedman once called him “A Great Texan.”

See Jake with special guests on a Tuesday at the classiest honky tonk in SoCal: Campus JAX, where you can dine, dance and drink the evening away.
