One of the largest surf festivals in the world takes place in Long Beach at the Golden Sails Hotel Aug. 1-3, 2025:

The 16th Annual Surf Guitar 101 Festival Weekender.

Featuring dozens of surf bands, vendors and sponsors, the 3-day event includes 2 stages, food from Roxanne's of Long Beach, and special rates on hotel rooms.

The annual event has free parking and full bars.

Reserve a seat for a day or for the entire weekend, but do it soon. Last year's show sold out.
